I am a former 5th grade teacher, who experienced great success in the classroom. In the 2013-2014 school year, my science class achieved the second highest growth out of all DC public and charter schools. My performance ranking was the coveted highly effective.
After my time in the classroom, I moved into various roles within the district's central office (e.g., English Language Arts Curriculum Manager). I also worked for the U.S. Department of Education as a grants administrator through the prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship. While no longer a full-time classroom teacher, I absolutely love working with students and continue to do so as a private tutor. From 2014 - 2021, I tutored in the Washington, DC area. The majority of my students came from top-tier private schools (e.g., National Cathedral School, St. Albans, St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac). I have since moved to the Chicagoland area, where I continue to work with learners from both public and private schools. Thank you for stopping by, and please do not hesitate to reach out via the Contact Me tab. I would be honored to work with your child! |
